Vectren Dayton Air Show

Ever since Orville and Wilbur Wright glided into history books as the fathers of flight, Dayton has been revered as the Birthplace of Aviation.  The Vectren Dayton Air Show, held July 19 and 20, pays tribute to that legacy with an awe-inspiring weekend of aeronautics that are bound to turn all eyes in the city skyward.

In addition to the thrilling features flight fans have come to expect — the 2008 air show celebrates the Air Force with the first-time Vectren Dayton Air Show appearance of the F-22A Raptor headlining a strong military lineup and Hall of Fame inductee Sean D. Tucker leading the civilian performers, this year's show promises to be very special.

Aviation enthusiasts have long marked their calendars to attend the Vectren Dayton Air Show.  Visit this year and discover the thrills that await the whole family.
