Whether you want to be on the river or beside it, Ride the River Rentals at RiverScape MetroPark (111 E. Monument Ave. between Jefferson St. and Patterson Blvd., downtown Dayton) has what you need. Featuring pedal boats, coaster bicycles in youth and adult sizes as well as an assortment of child attachments, tandem bicycles, HydroBikes and roller blades for rent beginning at $6 per half hour at RiverScape MetroPark (111 E. Monument Ave. between Jefferson St. and Patterson Blvd., downtown Dayton). During the winter, Skate the 'Scape Rentals offers ice skates for rent in a variety of sizes beginning with preschool size 11 and running through women's size 10 and men's size 15 in whole sizes. A valid driver's license or state identification is required at time of rental in lieu of a deposit. Master Card, Visa, American Express and cash is accepted. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Hours: Fourth of July & Labor Day 1pm-9pm, Fridays & Saturdays 11am-9pm and Sundays 1pm-9pm.
