    2. Going to the Dogs with Wilbur & Orville Wright
      9:30 am – 11:00 am

      Visitors with dogs (or without!) are invited to meet at Simms Station parking area at Huffman Prairie Flying Field for a ranger talk followed by a dog walk around the perimeter of the field (approximately 2 miles).

      Bring water and insect repellant.
      Dogs must be leashed. Kids under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    3. Ninth Annual Patriot Freedom Festival
      11:00 am – 6:00 pm

      Our 9th Annual Patriot Freedom Festival on the grounds of the historic Dayton Va Medical Center, features Live music & entertainment, 5K run/Walk/Roll, Military re-enactors and Living History, Free Children’s Activities, Military Displays, Historical Tour Games, Vendors & Food, 4 Freedom Equestrian Team, Miami Valley Military History Museum.

    4. LEARN TO ROW: ADULT LEARN TO ROW
      12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

      These four-week classes will cover everything needed to row a single sculling boat confidently and independently. Classes are held at the Island MetroPark Boat House. No prior experience necessary. Prerequisites: Participants should know how to swim, be comfortable around water, have good balance, and overall physical mobility. Able to carry 25lbs. over-head and comfortable doing deep knee bends.  For additional information see www.regattacentral.com/ltr/.

      With echoes of Stoppard, Kafka, and the Brothers Grimm, THE PILLOWMAN centers on a writer in an unnamed totalitarian state who is being interrogated about the gruesome content of his short stories and their similarities to a series of child murders. The result is an urgent work of theatrical bravura and an unflinching examination of the very nature and purpose of art.”

    2. RIVERSCAPE’S MUSIC @ LUNCHTIME
      11:30 am – 1:30 pm

      We invite you to enjoy lunch at RiverScape from Cafe Velo. Acoustic music will set the lunch scene each Tuesday through Saturday.  Take a break from the office or have a meeting overlooking the river.  Bring your tablet to enjoy the new WiFi or borrow a book from the Dayton Metro Library cart.  We invite you to make RiverScape your lunchtime escape.

    4. Bumbling Burglary
      7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
