      Visitors with dogs (or without!) are invited to meet at Simms Station parking area at Huffman Prairie Flying Field for a ranger talk followed by a dog walk around the perimeter of the field (approximately 2 miles).

      Bring water and insect repellant.
      Dogs must be leashed. Kids under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

      These four-week classes will cover everything needed to row a single sculling boat confidently and independently. Classes are held at the Island MetroPark Boat House. No prior experience necessary. Prerequisites: Participants should know how to swim, be comfortable around water, have good balance, and overall physical mobility.
