Bicycle manufacturers by day and airplane inventors by night, Wilbur and Orville Wright spent much of their time at the Wright Cycle Company, pondering the mechanics of powered flight. Today, bicycles and machinery of their era are on display here. At the same location, the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center features exhibits on the lives of the Wright Brothers and Paul Laurence Dunbar. The center's many hands-on displays are both educational and fun and explain the mechanics of flight. See printing presses from this time period at the exhibit on the brothers' printing business, and learn more about Dunbar's life through films and readings of his poems.
