Jim Bucher here, back with another ‘Bucher’s Blog’ for the Dayton/Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
It’s time to horse around a bit.
OK, let me explain, you see if you’re looking for something to do that’s fun for all members of the family and in the great outdoors, then saddle up pardners and head out to The Carriage Hill MetroPark Riding Center.
They offer rides for the first timer and you cowboys and girls out there.
It’s a perfect time too with the crisp fall air and the trees turning their annual bright colors, ahh, life gets no better.
The Riding Center is a public horseback riding facility that offers horseback riding focusing on safety, balanced position and proper horsemanship skills.
They have over 20 horses representing a variety of breeds, one outdoor arena, one indoor arena with an observation area, and access to 7.8 miles of horse trails.
Don’t forget all the fun activities to at the Carriage Hill Farm too.
This is a wonderful opportunity to get you primed for ‘War Horse’ at the Schuster, October 22-27.
(Do you like how I tied those two together?)
“War Horse’ is part of the spectacular Victoria Theatre Association’s Premier Health Broadway Series.
It’s the story of a loyalty and friendship between a young man and his beloved horse. Winner of five, count ‘em five Tony awards, and called ‘theatrical magic’ by the New York Times, it’s a ‘Buch’ must see!
What are you waiting for www.ticketcenterstage or (937)228-3630 have tickets for ‘War Horse’ and other great productions coming up just for you.
