Dayton Phil Video Games Live™


Video Games Live™ is an immersive concert experience featuring music from the most popular video games of all time. It’s the power and emotion of a symphony orchestra mixed with the excitement and energy of a rock concert mixed with the technology and interactivity of a video game! Video Games Live™ exposes new generations of music lovers and fans to the symphonic orchestral experience and offers a completely new and unique concert format for families of gamers and non-gamers alike.

The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra presents Video Games Live™ with exclusive video footage and music arrangements, synchronized lighting, solo performers, electronic percussionists, live action and on-stage interactive segments to create an explosive theatrical experience! The concert includes music from some of the most exciting video games leading the craze, including Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Halo, Pokemon, Skyrim, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, Metroid, World of Warcraft, Okami and many more!

A costume contest will be held at 7:00 pm prior to the concert in the Wintergarden of the Schuster Center. Pre-registration for the contest will occur between 6:00 pm and 6:30pm in the Wintergarden, and entries will be limited. There will be separate judging categories for adults and for children, and prizes will be awarded. Unfortunately, there will be no dressing rooms available. Be sure to come dressed as your favorite character and join in on the fun of the pre-concert activities!
