The Stoddard Avenue Pumpkin Glow is Back Again This Year!

Pumpkin Glow returns again this year to Stoddard Avenue October 30 & 31

After a triumphant return in 2017, the Stoddard Avenue Pumpkin Glow returns to the Stoddard Avenue hill behind Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 500 Belmonte Park North in Dayton’s Grafton Hill neighborhood on October 30 and 31 from 6PM to 10PM.  The Grafton Hill Neighborhood Association is asking the community to get involved by volunteering to gut, trace and carve the pumpkins this year.

Started in 1984 by Stoddard Avenue resident Judy Chaffin – the Pumpkin Lady -- the event has grown from 30 pumpkins on the hill to hundreds.  Friends and neighbors gather to offer skills from gutting and cleaning to carving, placing and lighting the finished pumpkins.  This year, Grafton Hill hopes to set a new record with 1,000 pumpkins carved!
