Saturday – May 8, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day and join Sam Romeo, Environmental Educator, to search for neotropical migrants who have flown from the southern hemisphere to nest and rest at Aullwood. These are the jewels of the bird world: warblers, tanagers, orioles and indigo buntings, to name a few species. Bring binoculars. You must preregister by calling 937-890-7360 or register on Aullwood’s website at aullwood.org. There is a limit of 10 people on a walk at a time. These walks begin and end in front of the Farm Discovery Center. Please be ready on the main sidewalk of the Farm Discovery Center 5 minutes before the scheduled 2:00 p.m. start of the walk. Please read through “Important Information and Guidelines for Programs.”
