Overview

St. Ignatius of Antioch Maronite Catholic Church will be holding the 25th Annual Greater Dayton Lebanese Festival on its grounds Aug. 23 thru Aug. 25, 2019.
 
The Festival will feature Middle Eastern dancing and entertainment, cultural displays, craft booths and amusement rides for all ages. Authentic hand-made Lebanese food will be available for sale including kibbee, kafta, beef and chicken shawarma ("Lebanese gyro"), tabbouli, stuffed grape leaves, hummus dip, homemade Middle Eastern mountain bread with zaatar seasoning, and fresh Lebanese pastries (e.g., baklawa, ghraybeh, nammoora). Middle Eastern entertainment from The St. Ignatius of Antioch Maronite Catholic Church Dance troupe, Conchi, Alhambra Dance Troupe, Egyptian Breeze and Roja. Celebrate a Maronite Catholic mass Sunday at 10:00 am. Mass includes the ancient Eucharistic prayer in Aramaic, the language spoken by ChristAll are welcome to attend.
