Total Eclipse at Boonshoft Museum of Discovery

To celebrate the Total Eclipse, we will be offering multiple different ways to learn about eclipses, including planetarium shows, solar observing, science lab demos, and more! Our planetarium will be presenting both films and live shows about eclipses and the science behind them. We will have staff outside with multiple ways of looking at the sun, such as solar telescopes, pinhole viewers, and of course, eclipse glasses. Our Science Theater will feature experiments that demonstrate some of the physics and chemistry of the sun. All shows and activities are free with museum admission!
