Huffman Prairie Flying Field and Interpretive Center

Just outside of Dayton, this 84-acre field is where Wilbur and Orville Wright perfected their flight skills in the Wright Flyer III, the world's first practical airplane. Start your visit at the Interpretive Center at Wright Brothers Hill, owned by the U.S. Air Force and operated by the National Park Service. Open seven days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Admission is free.
