The Dayton area is the perfect spot for cross-country meets. Throughout the years, we have been host to multiple NCAA DIII Championships, in addition to OHSAA sectional & district meets. With 7 Cross Country courses in the area, Dayton can accommodate over 5,000 competitors.
The most popular area location for XC races is Indian Riffle Park in Kettering. The Cross Country Course is all in a city park. The terrain is mostly flat with one rather steep, short hill that is crossed twice. The footing is typical city park turf, some of it being on playing fields. The course goes through a wooded area.
