Fall is a beautiful time of the year for many reasons such as the turning leaves, chilly weather, and here in Montgomery County; fall festivals! We see fall as just another reason to gather together and celebrate. There are many festivals happening throughout the county this fall for you to enjoy:
It's a Dayton tradition that is rooted in craft & international beer, wine. artisan goods, popular bands, polka music and good times. Oktoberfest, on the grounds of The Dayton Art Institute!
As you walk around Germantown's Veterans Park, you'll see our vendors having hand-crafted items, tasty treats, fun for the kids and more! Sidewalks will guide you around the park to experience everything the Pretzel Festival has to offer.
This event is focused on highlighting whole foods plant-based and vegan food and drink (non-alcoholic) businesses.

Come celebrate all things Halloween with us as we host our first annual Boo 'n Brew festival on Saturday, October 5th in the parking lot off of State Route 741
Arts, Beats and Eats is a special centennial community open house, taking place noon – 7:00 p.m. inside the museum and on the museum grounds. Get ready to party at this family event in honor of the DAI’s 100th birthday, with a food truck rally, fall beer garden, art activities, photo booth, live music outside, entertainment inside, plus giveaways, and more!
Dia de los Muertos is a special day celebrated throughout Latin America, on which people remember loved ones who have died. The Dayton celebration will be in the Mexican tradition of celebrating with bright colors, imagery of calaveras (skulls) and more, but recognizes all Day of the Dead traditions.

Annual downtown “Pub Crawl” celebration hosted by downtown restaurants and bars. Costumes are encouraged so be sure to dress up or you’ll stand out in the crowd. You’re sure to see some unique characters. It’s a fun and festive evening filled with music, food & drink specials, free carriage rides and more.
