Community Ambassadors

Each year, the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau recognizes five outstanding event/meeting planners who were instrumental in bringing their organization’s event to Dayton/Montgomery County over the past year.  Meeting and event planners are the key decision makers when it comes to selecting a destination or site for a group’s convention or event.
Each of the five individuals is presented with an official leather flight jacket, from Dayton, the Birthplace of Aviation.  The 2019 award recipients, and the events they hosted in Dayton/Montgomery County, are:

Meetings and conventions are big business!  Events and meetings hosted last year in Dayton and Montgomery County generated approximately $68 million in economic impact. Those dollars have enormous, positive impact on our economy.
