What is JAM Foodie Tours?
DAYTON'S FIRST FOODIE TOUR!
This unique tour combines walking, talking and savoring delicious bites while uncovering the vibrant food scene of downtown Dayton. JAM Foodie Tours will guide you through an array of eateries (starting at Sueño), where each stop offers a sample of local flavors and ingredients. The talented chefs, artisans and entrepreneurs who are shaping Dayton's culinary landscape are sure to discuss their craft, passion and dedication to creating dining experiences you won't forget.
Currently, there are 12 tours scheduled this summer for select Fridays and Saturdays in June and July starting at 3 p.m.. Led by a tour guide, each excursion is a route through parts of downtown Dayton and the Oregon District. As you stroll from one destination to the next, you can expect 6 samples of food and/or drinks at each establishment. The tours are expected to end between 5:30 and 6 p.m. at Tender Mercy. Just in time for you to go back out and try a full portion meal from whatever ends up being your favorite stop along the way!
You can even share stories, make friends and create memories as you connect with fellow foodies on the tour. Tickets for each tour are $100 per person, and each tour is limited to 12 people, so as to make for a personalized experience and not leave anyone behind! Better yet, kids are more than welcome to join the tour (consider the comfort of your little ones, as there is both standing and walking on the tour). Do keep in mind that tours go on rain or shine! While we'll do our best to keep you dry and well fed, dressing appropriately for the weather and bringing an umbrella if needed are advised.
