The 2nd Street Market offers a one-stop shopping and dining experience unlike any other in the Dayton area. Shop fresh and local year-round with a unique, vibrant, and diverse community of customers and vendors. More than 50 local merchants sell fresh local produce, meats, breads, pastries, flowers, artisan goods and more at this public market, housed in what was formerly a 1911 B&O Railroad freight building. It’s also home to a variety of small, locally owned restaurants featuring a wide variety of international flavors to tempt the taste buds.
Starting the first full weekend in May and running thru the last full weekend in October is an additional outdoor farmers market on the north side of the building with a wide variety of local farmers and artisans for the growing season.
The Market is open year-round:
Fridays, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Saturdays, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Sundays 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Free parking, including ADA-accessible parking, is available around the 2nd Street Market building in a paved lot, as well as nearby street parking. Also free, paved overflow parking is available in the nearby lot for The Steam Plant, off Webster Street.
