Dayton will again host the NCAA® Men's Division I First Four® Tournament in March. Games are played at the University of Dayton Arena, which has hosted more NCAA® men's basketball tournament games than any other venue. 

Several youth events are also held in Dayton, including the Premier Health Flyin' To The Hoop Tournament basketball invitational, which is held at Kettering's Trent Arena January 14-17, 2022. The Ohio High School Athletic Association Girls and Boys State Championships will be hosted at UD Arena in March 2022.

Dayton is also proud to host The Basketball Tournament (TBT) in 2022 UD Arena will host The Basketball Tournament Regionals (July 24-27), Quarterfinals (July 29-30), Semifinals (July 31) and the Championships (Aug. 2).

In addition to the venues listed below, the Dayton region is home to many high schools and neighborhood recreation centers that hold full-sized courts, both indoor and outdoor.
